In the corner of my eye
A human-shaped silhouette.
Today it was incredibly hot.
I was cleaning the house when I bent down and, from the corner of my right eye, I saw something move across the patio.
Not a shadow.
Not my imagination.
A clear human-shaped silhouette.
Visible.
For a moment, I froze.
Then I laughed.
Out loud, I said,
“I saw you.
Thank you.”
I’ve been asking to see more.
And today, in broad daylight, it felt as though another layer of the light spectrum briefly revealed itself.
There’s so much more.
